Guncho: Wild West Puzzle Game Launches on App Store and Google Play

Author : Jack Update:May 04,2025

The Wild West action-puzzler Guncho has just hit the scene, available now for both iOS and Android. Grab it from Google Play or the App Store and put your brain and trigger finger to the test. Upgrade your skills, manipulate the environment to your advantage, and send your outlaw opponents to their doom.

In Guncho, the challenge is clear: "How do I make these people die?" The answer? "Use more gun." This roguelike action-puzzler transports you to an imaginative Wild West setting, where your task is to outsmart and outgun your foes. As a nameless gunman sporting a sombrero and poncho, you'll face off against waves of bandits in a classic spaghetti western landscape filled with cacti and ruins.

In this fast-paced, turn-based puzzle game, you're always outnumbered but never outgunned. Master Guncho's mechanics by tracking and loading your bullets and using your limited actions per turn to position yourself perfectly for the kill. Use the environment strategically—take cover, kick dynamite at your opponents, or impale them on cacti with a well-aimed shot.

Guncho Gameplay

We've been keeping an eye on developer Arnold Rauers' work for years, and we're excited about Guncho. The Wild West theme, with its revolver-toting showdowns at sundown, remains powerfully evocative, especially with the game's low-poly art style and compelling musical score by Sam Webster. Art and animation are handled by Terri Vellmann, ensuring a visually engaging experience.

Guncho is available on your platform of choice, be it Steam, iOS, or Android. Once you've conquered the Wild West, explore our list of the best mobile games of 2024 to find more top picks. And don't forget to mark your calendar with our list of the most anticipated mobile games coming this year!
