Netflix’s Rise of the Golden Idol Is Dropping Its First DLC The Sins of New Wells

Netflix's hit game, *Rise of the Golden Idol*, is set to expand its universe with the release of its first DLC, *The Sins of New Wells*, coming to mobile devices on March 4th. This exciting addition will also be available on PC and consoles, but mobile gamers can enjoy it for free as part of Netflix Gaming.

What’s in Store?

Prepare for an even deeper dive into mystery, crime, and Lemurian magic. *The Sins of New Wells* takes you to a city where troubles abound. Homicide detective Roy Samson is transferred to the notorious 9th District, a place where justice is a distant concept.

In this corruption-ridden environment, crime is the norm. Roy, alongside his new partner Cliff Savea, uncovers a series of brutal crimes that lead them into a much darker and more sinister plot.

This DLC introduces four new cases to the game: *Following Orders*, *Trouble Unleashed*, *The Raid*, and *Unraveling*. Each case presents a complex web of crime, deception, and mystery that you must navigate. You'll need to interrogate mostly dishonest characters and solve intricate puzzles to piece together the truth amidst the chaos gripping New Wells.

Are You a Netflix Subscriber?

If you're a Netflix subscriber, you can dive into *The Sins of New Wells* on your mobile device starting at 9 AM PT or 5 PM GMT on launch day. Developer Color Gray Games has teased that this is just the beginning, with at least four more DLCs planned for 2025.

*Rise of the Golden Idol* has already established itself as a premier modern detective game. As a Netflix subscriber, you can access the game for free on the Google Play Store.

Before you go, don't miss our coverage of *Good Coffee, Great Coffee*, which offers realistic coffee-making challenges.
