Tactical Adventures has released a free demo for Solasta: Crown of the Magister 2, their latest turn-based tactical RPG set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. This sequel invites players to create a party of four heroes and journey through the land of Neokhos, a quest for redemption against an ancient evil. Enjoy unparalleled freedom in exploration and decision-making, with meaningful choices shaping your adventure.
The demo retains core features from the original Solasta, including tactical turn-based combat, extensive character creation, and dynamic NPC interactions. New players will appreciate the default "Helpful Dice" feature, mitigating frustrating unlucky rolls (though veterans can disable this option). Strategic use of the environment is key, with terrain playing a crucial role in battles.
Play solo or team up in cooperative multiplayer, similar to Divinity: Original Sin. The demo offers a taste of the game's diverse class-based challenges and encounters, showcasing the depth of the full experience. Tactical Adventures welcomes player feedback to help refine the final game.
The system requirements are modest: at least an Intel Core i5-8400 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and either an NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580 GPU are recommended for optimal performance.
