PUBG Mobile is revving up the excitement with another thrilling collaboration with McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing, blending the adrenaline of Formula 1 with the intensity of battle royale. From now until January 7th, players can immerse themselves in a world of exclusive McLaren-themed content.
The PUBG x McLaren collaboration reintroduces the iconic McLaren 570S, available in six stunning designs such as Royal Black and Pearlescent. Making its debut is the McLaren P1, which comes in three eye-catching themes: Volcano Yellow, Fantasy Pink, and Starry Sky.
For the first time, players can experience the thrill of Formula 1 racing with McLaren's iconic F1 Team Race Car, available in Digital and Victory models. To complete the racing ensemble, players can don the official McLaren Formula 1 Team Race Suit and Helmet. Additional collectibles like the McLaren Parachute and McLaren Key Ornament are also available for players to grab.
The battlefield itself is getting a makeover, with Erangel transforming into a racing hotspot complete with pit stops for refueling, tyre repairs, and vehicle health restoration. Engage in events like Speed Drift and the McLaren F1-themed Drive To Thrill, which offer numerous rewards, including a personalized in-game driver's license.
In addition to the McLaren partnership, PUBG Mobile hosted the Play for Green campaign in September, introducing two new maps: Ruins of Erangel: Sandstorm and Ruins of Erangel: Exploration. These maps reimagine the iconic Erangel after a century of climate change. The campaign also featured a Run for Green event, converting in-game movement into rewards, and the World of Wonder Green Creative Contest, where creators could design their own maps. These efforts culminated in PUBG Mobile receiving the Media’s Choice Award at Green Game Jam 2024.
