Secret Fighter Added to Mortal Kombat 1 with Rock Legend Nod

This week, *Mortal Kombat 1* received a substantial update that introduced Conan the Barbarian to its roster of fighters, much to the excitement of fans. However, the update also brought an unexpected and unannounced addition: a ninja clad in pink named Floyd. While it might seem like a playful nod, Floyd is indeed a legitimate secret fighter within the game.

Floyd pays homage to the legendary rock band Pink Floyd, drawing inspiration from the iconic cover of their album "The Dark Side of the Moon," which famously depicts the dispersion of light into a spectrum of colors. In the game, Floyd's abilities are a mash-up of moves borrowed from other ninjas. He can freeze enemies like Sub-Zero or deploy spears like Scorpion. Adding to his unique character, Floyd boasts an amusingly specific health count of 1337 points.

For long-time fans of the franchise, Floyd's inclusion might evoke a sense of déjà vu, reminiscent of the secret fighter Reptile from the original *Mortal Kombat* game. Reptile, known for being notoriously challenging to defeat, also utilized a blend of moves from other ninjas.

Currently, the *Mortal Kombat 1* community is actively searching for the method to trigger an encounter with the elusive pink ninja, Floyd. His appearances seem somewhat random, though Floyd does drop hints about the challenges players must complete to face him. However, a definitive method to unlock this secret fighter has yet to be confirmed.
