After NetEase clarified the initial reports, Thaddeus Sasser was never actually the head of development for Marvel Rivals. The project's official lead is Guangyun Chen.
The developers also confirmed that disbanding the Western team will not hinder NetEase's communication with the Western audience of Marvel Rivals.
