This week, the InZOI development team is taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year—a significant three-day holiday in South Korea. Before departing, Project Lead Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim shared valuable insights into the features fans have been eagerly requesting, which ones will be incorporated, and the extent of their implementation.

InZOI will introduce a real facial capture feature, allowing players to create templates for crafting zois. Although summer announcements already highlighted this as a highly convenient tool, Kjun stressed that the primary aim is to streamline the zois creation process even more.
Another exciting addition is the ability for players to own pets within the game. However, this feature will not be available during early access and will require fans to wait a bit longer. Interestingly, Kjun himself is a passionate animal lover.
The game will feature tall buildings, capped at 30 floors. While the game engine technically supports taller structures, this limit aims to address potential performance issues.
Additionally, InZOI will include gas stations and full-fledged fights. Kjun acknowledged that the slap mechanic from earlier previews felt too simplistic for players. As a result, the game will now feature more engaging combat scenarios with clear winners and losers.
To assist newcomers unfamiliar with the genre, InZOI will also include a comprehensive tutorial. This thoughtful approach certainly merits commendation.
At present, Krafton remains on track to launch InZOI in early access by the end of March, with no further delays anticipated.
